AT&T Improves Service in Rochester

Customers in the area of Orion Road, north of W. Tienken Road will notice faster speeds.

AT&T customers in Rochester, in the area of Orion Road, north of W. Tienken Road, can now experience network speeds four times faster than 4G, thanks to additional capacity that has been added to one cell tower there.

The improvements are the latest example of AT&T’s investment to give Michigan customers the high-quality service they need to stay connected. The company has invested more than $1.7 billion from 2012 through 2014 to improving its networks stateside.

“We’re excited to bring faster speeds for residents and businesses in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michignan. “We know our customers are living their lives on the go. We want to help them get the most out of their mobile devices -- whether they are watching videos, texting family and friends or posting to social media.”
