Children of Eden, July 22 - 25 at Rochester High School
RCS's Summer Music Theatre is proud to present, Children of Eden. Tickets are available online at www.showtix4u.com and at the door.
Children of Eden features 82 students from grades 3 - 12. Children will love the show‘s pageantry and puppetry reminiscent of The Lion King. Adults will also enjoy this epic, heartfelt musical that ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that “the hardest part of love...is letting go”. Featuring a stunning score by Oscar and Grammy winning composer Stephen Schwartz, this version by German composer Manfred Knaak, takes Schwartz’ original score and arranges it for a full orchestra of musicians. This is only the third time this version has been heard in the United States, and it the first amateur production to be performed worldwide.
Performance dates for Children of Eden are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, July 22nd - July 24th, at 7:00 p.m., with two shows on Saturday, July 25th, at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The show will be held at Rochester High School auditorium located at 180 S. Livernois Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Tickets are available online at www.showtix4u.com and at the door one hour before each show.
