With the construction season underway, the City of Rochester Hills has launched a new feature on its mobile App aimed at providing users with information on area Road Work projects.
This most recent update provides a zoom-enabled map that highlights the location of road work in the city along with project details including road and lane closures and anticipated project start and completion dates.

“We continue to seek innovative ways to stay connected to our residents and this latest feature is just one of the many ways that we are able to disseminate important information,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett.

While this feature currently covers all road projects within the city, Rochester Hills is working with the City of Rochester to expand the app to include their road projects in the near future.
Rochester Hills was the first community in Southeast Michigan to unveil their own city App and since then, there have been over 3,000 downloads.
The free mobile App is available on Android and Apple devices.
