Crumbley Parents Get 10-15 Years For Deadly Oxford School Shooting

The couple's son, Ethan Crumbley, who is now 17, was sentenced to life without parole last December after he admitted to the shooting.

PONTIAC, MI — Jennifer and James Crumbley were each sentenced to 10-15 years in prison for their role in the deadly Oxford school shooting.

Though each parent was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, those counts will run concurrent, not consecutive, meaning each parent faced a maximum of 15 years in prison.

The couple were each found guilty on four counts of involuntary manslaughter after ignoring disturbing warning signs from their son leading up to the deadly shooting that left four dead and seven others wounded on Nov. 30, 2021.

The four students killed in the shooting were 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, 16-year-old Tate Myre, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin and 17-year-old Justin Shilling.
