Dessert Oasis Scores “4 for 4” at Prestigious Golden Bean 2022 Awards

ROCHESTER, Mich., October 7, 2022 — Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters (DOCR) is pleased to announce that it won 4 medals out of 4 submissions at this year’s Golden Bean Awards, the World’s Largest Coffee Roasting Competition. The event, held August 16-20 in Columbus, Ohio, drew more than 1,000 entries.

Among the Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters Winners:

· DOCR’s Guatemala Hoja Blanca House Coffee won a Bronze medal in 2 categories (Espresso, and Espresso in a Milk Based Drink)

· DOCR’s Colombia Manos Juntas won a Bronze medal in the filter category

· DOCR’s Tanzania pb Kalonge, which will soon be released in full to the public, won a Bronze medal in the filter category, as well

The Guatemala Hoja Blanca House Coffee is from a small group of producers in the Hoja Blanca Community in Huehuetenango, Guatemala; and, the Columbia Manos Juntas comes from the Manos Juntas micromill in the Sotara area of Colombia's Cauca region. Previously, DOCR has earned 2nd Place in the America’s Best Espresso competition in 2016; and, also, won 2 Bronze medals at the 2019 Golden Bean Awards.
