Poverty and Barriers to Self-Sustainability: Focus on Education

Do you reject the idea that poverty should be passed on from one generation to another as a way of life for many families in North Oakland County?  If you would like to explore the causes of local generational poverty, in the hope that when we understand this problem we can figure out a way to make a meaningful difference, please join with us over the next year as we explore different aspects of the barriers to escaping poverty . . . and find bridges to helping families achieve self-sustainability.

Let us start on April 21 with an interactive, informative and inspiring discussion with Robert Martin, Ph.D. on the challenges and impact of education on poverty and self-sufficiency.
