District leaders cite rising local and statewide crashes, including a serious e-bike injury in Rochester Hills, and hope clear rules will prevent accidents in crowded school drop-off zones while the state considers broader guidance. 
• Rochester DDA Director Kristi Trevarrow Honored with Rotary Award (oaklandcounty115.com subscription) — Downtown Rochester's longtime DDA director, Kristi Trevarrow, has been honored with Rotary's prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award for her decades of work revitalizing and promoting the city's downtown. Her leadership includes the Big, Bright Light Show and a new Market + The Graham project that will upgrade the farmers' market site into a year-round community gathering space with expanded amenities.
