“Benny’s Kitchen supplies the necessary and emergency pet food to low-income Rochester area residents so their furry family members can stay at home, rather than being surrendered to a shelter due to lack of funds to feed their pets” stated Phillips.
Phillips has set up GG’s Foundation which raises money through the sale of her book, GG’s Journey: From Lost to Loved, an inspiring story told through an abandoned pit bull’s eyes and chronicling GG’s journey from abuse to abandonment to salvation. The mission of GG’s Foundation is to end animal homelessness, euthanasia of healthy and treatable pets, exploitation, inhumane treatment and animal cruelty. Funding focuses on animal rescue, humane education programs for adults and youth, and, spay and neuter to prevent overpopulation. To learn more visit www.ggsjourney.com.
