Juilliard String Quartet comes to Oakland University

The Juilliard String Quartet is coming to Oakland University Sunday, October 12 at 3 p.m.

Joining the Juilliard Quartet on this program is the Aeolus String Quartet, the Graduate Resident Quartet at the Juilliard School. The program includes quartets by Haydn and Ran, along with an octet by Mendelssohn.

The Chamber Music Society of Detroit is entering its 71st season and brings to Oakland University a well-established reputation as one of the leading chamber music presenting organizations in the world. This concert series, presented in partnership with OU Music, Theatre and Dance, features artists and ensembles of national and international distinction.

These affordably priced public concerts in Varner Recital Hall offer an exciting opportunity to the community and region, and all are welcome to attend. Tickets for each performance are $30 for the general public and $15 for students. Subscription tickets for all four concerts are available from the Chamber Music Society of Detroit only.
