In honor of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, Crittenton Home Care encourages you to help those suffering with Alzheimer ’s disease and their families to seek support through the many offerings at the Greater Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Through national and local initiatives, the Alzheimer’s Association assists individuals and caregivers through their journey of Alzheimer ’s disease.
Crittenton Home Care invites the community to a Caregiver Support Group the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Auburn Hills Community Center and the first Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Washington Senior Center.
Lead by an Alzheimer’s Association facilitator, the group provides an opportunity for caregivers to discuss how their lives have been affected as they care for someone with Alzheimer’s disease.
