ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — State Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak) recently secured roughly $500,000 for the Innovation Hills Park expansion in Rochester Hills.

Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett said the expansion seeks to provide a bridge across the Clinton River to unlock 40 acres of green space that will include more trails, as well as appropriate pedestrian access and suitable wayfinding for the area.

"The moneys that were secured thanks to the passage of the budget are going to help us build an - I like to call it a cool Indiana Jones style rope bridge across the river," Barnett said.
