Meadow Brook Holiday Walk Begins Nov. 28
Meadow Brook's 43rd Annual Holiday Walk celebrates the 100th birthday of glamour girl Francis Dodge and her life here in Oakland County.
Join the community in celebrating the season at Meadow Brook Hall & Garden’s 43rd Annual Holiday Walk. The Holiday Walk is open to the public and runs from NOv. 28-Dec. 23 with special events for the family throughout the season, including hot chocolate and children’s activities each weekend.
Children of all ages can stroll down the wintry path to Danny’s Cabin, which features historic sleds and sleighs… including Santa’s own. They will discover an American Girl tea party and more exhibited at Knole Cottage. During the weekends throughout the Holiday Walk kids can also “gallop” their way through The Hall to locate the pony ornaments hidden amongst the boughs of the decorated trees – and receive a prize if they find them all. Families will find a hot chocolate and a holiday treat down the path to Knole Cottage and Danny’s Cabin.
Just as Frances Dodge drove a sleigh filled with presents to Meadow Brook’s front gate every Christmas, guests will have the opportunity to leave their own presents at The Hall through December 14 for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.
