Meadow Brook Summer Concert Series welcomes The Lentini Duo

OU Provost James Lentini and his wife, Dana, will perform from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, July 14 on the estate grounds of Meadow Brook Hall.

The Meadow Brook Summer Concert series will welcome composer, guitarist and Oakland University Provost James Lentini and his wife, lyric soprano Dana Lentini, for a performance set for 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, July 14. The concert will take place on the estate grounds of Meadow Brook Hall.

A recipient of the Segovia International Composition Prize, the McHugh Composition Prize, and a Bluffton University Choral Competition First Prize, Dr. James Lentini has released a CD of his works on the Naxos label, and his music has also appeared on the Azica, Capstone and CRS labels. Various works have been performed by distinguished artists such as guitarist William Kanengiser and members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Dana Lentini has performed a number of leading roles with opera companies. She has also appeared as a featured soloist with the Rochester Symphony Orchestra, Livonia Symphony, Dearborn Symphony, Oakland University Symphony, and the Wayne State University Symphonic Chorus and Orchestra.
