Meijer Hiring 900 Workers in Job Fairs Going On Now

Meijer is holding job fairs at its Michigan stores to hire 900 employees, the Grand Rapids-based grocer said.

An average of 50 or more employees will be hired a each store. The hiring blitz continues through 4 p.m. Thursday and repeats from noon-4 p.m. Friday at its 17 southeast Michigan stores:

Candidates can begin the application process online. Available positions include cashiers, clerks, and bakery and deli jobs. Most of the jobs are part-time with hourly pay.

Meijer owns 220 supercenter stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
