Missing Person: Oakland County Sheriff's Office Seeks Public's Help
A woman who walked away from the Deerwood Manor Group Home is easily disoriented and in need of her medication.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to locate a 63-year-old woman who walked away from a group home Friday morning and hasn’t been seen since.
Theresa Adams, who has been diagnosed with a schizoaffective disorder, has been listed as missing with Michigan’s Law Enforcement Information Network as “missing/endangered,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Adams walked away from the Deerwood Manor Group Home, 1095 Hummer Lake Road, in Oxford Township about 9:20 a.m. Friday, according to the release.

She has auburn or strawberry blond hair, hazel eyes, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light blue jacket and gray running pants.
She is easily lost and disoriented when she is in unfamiliar areas, and also needs medication for her condition that is provided to her at the group home, the sheriff’s office said.

She does not have family in the state, and does not own or carry a cellphone.
Adams has reportedly walked away from the group home before, but in the past was located within several hours of her disappearance. She has been located in Brandon and Orion townships in the past, according to the release.
Anyone who may have information regarding her location or may have had contact with her since she walked away is asked to contact the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at (248) 858-4911.
