MOD Pizza to Offer 175 Free Pizzas to Guests in Celebration of National Pizza Pie Day

25 guests at each MOD Pizza location on February 9 to receive a free MOD size pizza

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, and its seven MOD Pizza restaurants will celebrate National Pizza Pie Day on Thursday, February 9 by offering a free MOD size pizza to 25 guests at each location. TSFR Brand Leader of MOD Pizza Jake Schostak made the announcement.

“MOD Pizza does more than just offer inspiring pizza creations and authentic, affordable and superfast dining experiences, we are serving as the role model for what it means to do the right thing in our communities,” said Schostak. “With National Pizza Pie Day coming up, we saw this as another perfect opportunity to give back in a way that is true to MOD’s roots."

In order to redeem the offer, the first 25 guests at each location that mention how they heard about the National Pizza Pie Day special will receive their MOD size pizza for free. With its doors opening at 10:30 a.m., the following MOD Pizza locations will be offering the giveaway:

Based in Seattle, MOD’s individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces, including MOD red sauce and MOD white sauce. As the company that launched the fast-casual pizza niche, guests can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of more than 30 fresh-featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics. Each pizza is hand-cooked in an 800 degree oven in five minutes or less and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD also serves local draft beers, wine, handspun milkshakes, and house-made lemonades and iced teas.

In late 2014, TSFR announced its plans to launch 25 MOD Pizza locations in Michigan over the next five years. Since then, TSFR has opened its first seven MOD Pizza locations Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Woodhaven, Brighton, Canton and Chesterfield, with another location underway in Shelby Township.
