This year’s Relay For Life will take place at a new location, the St. John Hospital Cancer Center located at 1901 Star Batt Drive in Rochester Hills. The event, which will take place on June 18th, will also have new hours this year, from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
“We’re thrilled to host the 2016 Rochester area Relay for Life at the St. John Rochester Hills Cancer Center,” said Jane Martin, Vice President, Oncology Center of Excellence for St. John Providence. “Since April 2014, St. John Providence in collaboration with Crittenton Hospital, has been working to develop and enhance services offered at this beautiful facility. Hosting the event is a great opportunity to network with the community and support an important event which helps so many who battle cancer. “
The event represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. It is dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to fight cancer. As the Society's signature event, Relay has been bringing cancer survivors and anyone touched by the disease together for more than 20 years.
