Officials described the man as a career criminal.

PONTIAC, MI — A Pontiac man is facing charges after going on a "mini-crime spree" throughout Oakland County on Easter Sunday, according to the sheriff's office.
Terry David Manney, 48, was charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering and safe breaking. He was placed in jail with a $75,000 bond.
He faces up to life in prison for the safe-breaking charge if convicted.

Surveillance video captured Manny using a crowbar to enter the gas stations and business, officials said.

Officials said he took a large amount of cash and 30 cartons of cigarettes, officials said.
He was then seen driving away in a dark-colored vehicle, officials said.
The break-ins all happened within an hour of each other, officials said.
Investigators also linked him to an April 1 break-in at a Pontiac market.
He was arrested at his home where officers found cash and cigarettes, officials said.
Officials described Manney as a career criminal. He has five prior convictions in Michigan and 16 felony convictions in Florida for drug-related crimes, theft and various break-ins, officials said.
"Great work by our detectives and the teams at the Pontiac and Independence Township substations to identify and take this career criminal off the street," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. "He is suspected in multiple business burglaries in recent days and given his over 60 pages of past criminal history, that would likely continue without him being caught. I look forward to him being held accountable."
