Oakland County Teacher Fired After Profanity-Filled Rant At Her Students

The school district said Tuesday the teacher's behavior does not reflect their values or standards.

PONTIAC, MI — An Oakland County teacher was fired after going on a profanity-filled rant toward her students, according to the school district.

Video circulating on social media showed the Pontiac High School teacher yelling at her students while using inappropriate language.

A student was heard yelling back at the teacher, who then accused the student of threatening to "call his mama to beat the f**k out" out of her. The incident only escalated from there.

The school district said Tuesday the teacher's behavior does not reflect their values or standards that they expect from staff members.

"The matter was addressed promptly, and the employee involved no longer works for the district," school officials said. "The well-being of our students remains our highest priority. We appreciate our families’ continued support as we work to ensure instructional continuity and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment."

School officials did not identify the teacher and did not release any other details.
