Police Seek Driver Of Audi Q7 In Rochester Hills Fatal Hit-And-Run

Before she was hit, the woman had fled another vehicle after a passenger had begun choking the driver, police said.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating the driver of an Audi Q7 that fatally struck a Davison woman Saturday morning in Rochester Hills.

Sarah Ratliff, 30, was fatally struck by the Audi in the westbound lanes on Michigan 59 in the area of Adams Road at 2:21 a.m., officials said. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she died shortly later, police said.

Police do not know what color the Audi is, but believe the car's model is between 2017-2019. Officials also said the car likely has damage to the lower portion of its front grille.

The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old man from Otter Lake, and Ratliff then got out of the truck and ran away, according to the sheriff's office.

Moments later, Ratliff was struck by the Audi driving westbound on Michigan 59, about 100 feet from the pickup truck, according to the sheriff's office.

The backseat passenger, a 41-year-old Metamora man, who tried choking the driver was arrested and is expected to be criminally charged, according to the sheriff's office. He also identified himself as Ratliff’s boyfriend, police said.
