The cancer fundraising indirectly benefits dogs because research for human cancer treatments has also led to treatments for canine cancers. The walk is both a prelude to the society’s Relay For Life fundraiser in June as well as its own alternative event because dogs are not allowed at the relay. So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day.
“It’s a great opportunity to support the American Cancer Society and have a great morning doing something you and your dog can do together,” said Bob Grace, Bark For Live Chairperson.
