RHPL Librarians at Upland Hills Farm
Librarians set to read farm-themed books at Upland Hills Farm Fall Harvest Festival

Pigs and chickens and cows… and BOOKS- oh my!
During the month of October, the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library will be partnering with Upland Hills Farm annual Fall Harvest Festival Fundraiser Program, but see info below for special event on 10/17/15.
The partnership will allow visitors to tour the farm, see the animals, enjoy cider and donuts, and learn what a farm is all about. And each visitor who submits a special Friends participant donation form available in advance at the library’s info desk or on the library website (rhpl.com) will help raise funds for the Friends, the Rochester Hills Public Library’s volunteer support arm.
*****The Harvest Festival’s showpiece event will be Saturday, October 17 when youth librarians from the Rochester Hills Public Library will be at the farm reading from some favorite children’s books in places like the pumpkin patch, by the horse barn and nature center. ******* Festival open from 10am - 5pm AND Librarians will be reading from 12pm - 3pm..
Here’s the drill: Preferably, fill out the form ahead of time. (Forms will also be available at the Farm entry gate for Library supporters.) Submit it with your admission to the farm on any Saturday or Sunday in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A portion of the admission price ($9 per person; 24 months and under are free) will be given back to the Friends as a donation from Upland Hills.
