Rochester College Band To Perform Spring Concert
Featured selections include Clifton Williams' Symphonic Dance No. 3 "Fiesta" and the "Purple Pageant March" by Karl King

Rochester College’s music department will present a concert featuring the Rochester College Concert Band on Tuesday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. The concert is part of a week-long Academic Symposium, presented by the college at the end of every school year.
The 70-member Rochester College Concert Band includes RC undergraduates and faculty, students from other area colleges, advanced high school musicians and adult community members. The group is directed by RC music instructor Paul DeRubeis, who is the retired director of bands at Bloomfield Middle School.
Among the featured selections will be Clifton Williams’ Symphonic Dance No. 3 “Fiesta,” the “Purple Pageant March” by Karl King, John Philip Sousa’s “The Liberty Bell March” and a few pieces played by small ensembles drawn from the band.
