Kidz1st Pediatrics is proud to announce that Dr. Heather Binasio M.D. will be joining the practice and taking new patients beginning Monday, July 13. She joins Dr. Silvia Operti-Considine and Dr. Bradley Barnes along with 3 nurse practitioners in the care of children.
Dr. Binasio is a graduate of Michigan State University and Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and spent time with Kidz1st during the summer of 2014 as part of her outpatient pediatric rotation. She enjoys traveling and learning about new people and cultures. As part of her educational experiences, Dr. Binasio has had the opportunity to spend time volunteering with medical trips to Costa Rica, Honduras and Haiti. There, she gained a new appreciation and dedication to global and community health. Dr. Binasio loves kids and she’s ready to take good care of yours.
Kidz1st has been providing pediatric healthcare to Rochester area children for almost 50 years. In addiion to offering comprehensive services to children ages newborn-adolescence, special services include a Reach Out and Read literacy program (free books for kids), Spanish spoken, on-site lactation consultant, medical ear piercing (for everyone!), and an international travel clinic.
