Rochester Hills New Program Aims To Support Local Schools

Rochester Hills residents can turn their Recyclebank points into real money for local schools.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Rochester Hills residents can now turn their Recyclebank points into real money to help support local schools. The Green Schools Program will be open until May 5.

When residents place recyclables in the green recycling bin, they earn points, which can used for different rewards, such as a month of unlimited yoga at Red Lotus, a free gallon of milk from Hollywood Market or 30 percent off an order at Clean Juice.

But for just one month of the year, residents can choose to donate their points to a school of their choice participating in the program, helping the school achieve its fundraising goals.
