Rochester Hills Public Library and Oakland University Present New Lecture Series

The Rochester Hills Public Library and Oakland University have formed a partnership to provide access to esteemed scholars through a free monthly lecture series beginning Saturday, September 17.

The series, titled "Discovery and Coffee" will feature expert professors to discuss diverse topics.“With stimulating lectures and a dynamic group of respected professors, 'Discovery and Coffee' represents an exciting opportunity for personalized learning to make knowledge available to ever-increasing numbers of people, the goal of the Rochester Hills Public Library,” said Rochester Hills Public Library’s Community Relations Specialist Amanda Harrison.“We are excited to initiate this partnership with the Rochester Hills Public Library and introduce our professors and their expertise to the community at large.

Patrons will get to ask questions and engage in discussions with some of the most well respected professors we have to offer,” added Oakland University Director of Media Relations Brian Bierley.

The series consists of three talks, which will take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Rochester Hills Public Library. Registration is required. For more information, contact the library at (248) 656-2900.
