Rochester Hills Woman Dies In Tuesday Morning Crash: Officials

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A 23-year-old Rochester Hills woman died Tuesday morning after crashing her jeep on Adams Road near Tienken Road in Rochester Hills, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said.

Amanda Marie White was driving her 2020 Jeep Renegade northbound on Adams Road south of Tienken Road at 12:25 a.m. when she hit an embankment and went airborne while trying to exit the east side of the roadway, officials said.

Rochester Hills fire officials took White to a nearby hospital where she died shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday, officials said.

White was the only person in the jeep and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, officials said. Police do believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Officials from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigations Unit are still investigating the crash.
