Suspects in Vehicle Theft, Burglaries Flee on Foot
Police say vehicle stolen from Auburn Hills and located in Rochester Hills Monday was used in attempted B&E and ATM theft.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – Oakland County sheriff’s deputies recovered a vehicle reported stolen last week by Auburn Hills police, but are still seeking the suspects, who fled after officers attempted a traffic stop early Monday morning.

Deputies observed the Jeep Cherokee at a closed gas station in the area of South Adams Road and West Auburn around 2:44 a.m. and determined that it had been stolen, according to a police report.

A K-9 unit deployed to track the suspects was unsuccessful.

The stolen vehicle was turned over to the Auburn Hills Police Department, which said the vehicle had been used in an attempted burglary and ATM theft in that city.
Deputies did not get close enough to the vehicle to capture it on camera, or get images of the three suspects.
