After police used stun gun to subdue driver, female passenger allegedly began striking and kicking deputy in Rochester Hills arrest.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - Deputies deployed stun guns to subdue both the driver and a passenger in a vehicle stopped for suspicion of drunken driving at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, according to a report from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Both the driver, a 33-year-old man, and his female passenger, 32, both of Rochester Hills, tried to walk away and enter an apartment building after a deputy stopped the vehicle in the 1600 block of Clemens Drive in Rochester Hills, police said.

Both appeared to be “highly intoxicated,” according to the report, and the driver refused to comply with field sobriety tests and also refused to submit to being placed under arrest.
