The Women's Fund Grant for New Day Foundation for Families
New Day Foundation for Families received a $2500 grant for their Single Parent Program
The Women’s Fund likes writing checks! But, even better is getting to see how the funds change lives!
Last year the Women’s Fund provided the New Day Foundation for Families with a $2500 grant for their Single Parent Program to provide financial assistance, emotional resources and profound hope to single mothers and their children while they are facing cancer.
Diane is a beautiful, hardworking, dedicated single mother to her daughter and has been fighting hard the last year and a half in a battle against Colon Cancer. Diane first came to New Day in 2015 at the beginning of her journey, and now New Day is stepping in again to provide support through home mortgage, taxes and some new clothing for Diane and her daughter. “We know it’s been a long battle but we have been and will continue to support and pray for this amazing woman, mother and fighter!” said Heather Blasko, Public Relations for New Day Foundation for Families.
