• Eisenhower slips past L'Anse Creuse North; Romeo pitchers no-hit Dakota (macombdaily.com) — Romeo High School athletes had a big day, with Bulldogs pitchers combining for a no-hitter against Macomb Dakota and the girls soccer team narrowly falling 3-2 to L’Anse Creuse North. The roundup also highlights several other MAC baseball, softball, and tennis results from around Macomb County that Romeo teams will likely encounter this season. 
• Community invited to contribute to time capsule project in Oakland Township (candgnews.com) — Romeo-area residents are invited to help fill a new community time capsule being created by the Oakland Township Historical Society, which welcomes submissions from Romeo, Rochester, Lake Orion and beyond. Locals can send letters, photos, stories, and small artifacts by June 1, before the capsule is sealed and buried at Cranberry Lake Farm this July for reopening in 2051.
