Prosecutors say the Sterling Heights man was convicted of first-degree murder for fatally beating his girlfriend before driving to Roseville, and they’re highlighting domestic violence resources for anyone who needs help.
• One arrest caps monthlong drug probe into alleged drug houses in Macomb, Oakland counties (theoaklandpress.com) — Roseville police are part of a regional drug task force that just wrapped up a monthlong investigation seizing fentanyl, cocaine, cash, and guns from alleged drug houses in Macomb and Oakland counties. While the searches took place in Fraser and West Bloomfield, the COMET team— which includes Roseville officers—says the case targets narcotics trafficking across the broader Metro Detroit area.
