• 69 substance-abuse recovery beds to open in Macomb, Oakland, Wayne counties (macombdaily.com) — Roseville residents affected by addiction will soon see 12 new recovery beds added in Macomb County, including at Live Rite Properties in the city, funded by Michigan’s opioid settlement. State officials say the expanded housing will give people in recovery a stable place to live while they access counseling and support, with more than 200 beds being added statewide through this program.
   

• Warren Mott cruises to shutout of Roseville to open D-1 tourney (macombdaily.com) — Roseville High’s boys soccer team saw its season end Tuesday with an 8-0 road loss to Warren Mott in the Division 1 state tournament opener, despite a strong effort from junior goalkeeper Jack Kulka. Coach Nick Fisk says the young Panthers, many of whom don’t yet play club soccer, are working to rebuild the program and hope to launch a local summer camp.
