• Fisherman's boat capsizes on Lake 16 (oceanacountypress.com) — A 73-year-old Rothbury man is safe after his small rowboat capsized on Lake 16 in Grant Township Monday afternoon, thanks in part to his life jacket and a kayaker who towed him to shore. Rothbury Police and several emergency agencies responded, and the sheriff’s marine division is using this close call—along with a recent fatal Hart Lake incident—to urge everyone to wear life vests on the water this summer.
