2 Teens Arrested After Royal Oak Rite Aid Robbery, Police Chase
After robbing the pharmacy at gunpoint, the two teens took off in a black Dodge Durango, police said.
ROYAL OAK, MI — Two male teens from Dearborn were arrested Tuesday by police after robbing a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Royal Oak and leading police on a chase, authorities said.
Officers said they received 911 calls on Monday at 7:20 p.m. regarding an armed robbery at the pharmacy located at 1026 N. Main St.
After robbing the pharmacy at gunpoint, the two teens took off in a black Dodge Durango, police said.

A Royal Oak officer found the SUV in the area of Crooks near Vinsetta and attempted to stop the it, but the driver began speeding, leading officers on a chase through Royal Oak, Birmingham and Troy, authorities said.
At one point during the pursuit, the passenger of the SUV threw a firearm out of the vehicle, which was found by officers, police said.

The chase came to an end in the Oakland Mall parking lot, where the two teens were arrested by Royal Oak and Troy officers, police said.
The 19-year-old driver, a resident of Dearborn, was arrested for armed robbery, fleeing and eluding, carrying a concealed weapon, larceny from a building and possession of synthetic narcotic.
The 17-year-old passenger, a resident of Dearborn, was arrested for armed robbery,
carrying a concealed weapon and larceny from a building.
