Downstairs from the Bandit, the Hideaway will host seasonal pop-ups, such as Griswold’s Hideaway, which is a holiday bar inspired by National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It will start after Thanksgiving.

Other future pop-ups will offer guests a fun, new experience with themes from holiday to parodies and offer dancing, live DJ’s and themed cocktails. There are also VIP rooms with bottle service and a large private party space.

"This is an ever-evolving space," Bandit Tavern & Hideaway Managing Partner David Ritchie said. "We love bringing something new and different, not only for Royal Oak, but for metro Detroit. We’re eager to start the next chapter here with Bandit as our team continues to be innovative and creative with our restaurant concepts."
