Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Lego Minifigure at Legoland

It’s a birthday celebration at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan! On June 2, 3, 9 and 10, families can celebrate the 40th anniversary of the LEGO® Minifigure and participate in a number of special birthday celebrations.

The two-weekend event will feature a fun-filled scavenger hunt throughout LEGOLAND® with six large size Minifigure replicas to find and a special build table incorporating Minifigure faces. In addition, MINILAND will be decorated for the birthday party, complete with carnival rides, parades and banners, and more!

All children will be given a birthday party hat at admissions, and the first 50 children to enter each day will receive a free 40th anniversary Minifigure. A celebratory countdown and balloon drop of approximately 600 balloons will take place at 2 p.m. each day and dance parties with LEGOLAND® mascots will happen at 12 p.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

All guests can enter to win two annual passes, and completed scavenger hunt sheets can be submitted to win a special prize pack. Any purchase of an activity pack will receive a bonus 40th anniversary pop badge.

All activities taking place during the LEGO® Minifigure 40th Birthday Party celebration weekends are included in the price of admission to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan.
