Deadline Extended for Elite 40 Under 40
Deadline for program honoring emerging professional and civic leaders in Oakland County is now 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4.
The deadline has been extended until 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, for nominations to an Oakland County awards competition honoring emerging professional and civic leaders.
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson’s Elite 40 Under 40 competition, established in 2012, honors entrepreneurs, community leaders, teachers and others who excel in their careers and have made significant contributions to the quality of life in Oakland County and the region.

“We have an abundance of talented entrepreneurs, teachers and other thought leaders who are shaping the future of our region,” he said. “We’re looking for the best and brightest the region has to offer.”
To submit a candidate, go to www.AdvantageOakland.com/Elite40. Nominees must live or work in Oakland County to be eligible. A panel of judges will review all completed applications and reduce the number to the top 40 entrants. Of that group, three candidates who scored the highest will be placed before the public for an online vote to determine the winner.
