Just Another Band From Detroit Caps off Friday at Fest
Local Zappa Tribute band rocks Arts, Beats & Eats Friday night on the Bud Light Rock Stage.
There's no mistaking where this Frank Zappa tribute band is from with a name like Just Another Band From Detroit.
The band, which rocked the Bud Light stage Friday evening at Arts, Beats & Eats, plays more than just Zappa songs though. They play a mix of music that combines classic and progressive rock and a little jazz. They also throw in some Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin and other popular bands from the '60s, '70s and '80s.
Just Another Band features multiple vocalists, including Patrick Jensen and Chelsea Hallendy, with each member of the band contributing on different songs.

Scott Fryer on sax and Jensen on trumpet produced the horn sounds reminiscent of Zappa and Steely Dan.
The crowd roared as the band drove through their two-hour set leaving the fans begging for more.
