Lady Jane's Opens New Royal Oak Location
Haircut chain that focuses on men and boys opens 14th store in Michigan on Woodward Avenue.
With leather gaming chairs in the waiting area, Playstation, shuffle board and a magazine rack with titles such as Golf Digest, Motor Trend and Men’s Journal , can anyone dispute manager Nichole Green when she says the focus is men at Lady Jane’s Haircuts?
The newest guy-friendly Lady Jane’s opened three weeks ago at 30271 Woodward Ave., south of 13 Mile. It’s where men watch the likes of ESPN on their very own plasma screen TV while one of six stylists cuts their hair.
The shop is so on focused on men's and boys’ hair, it doesn't even have tools to cut a woman’s hair, Green said.

“It’s pretty a pretty comfortable atmosphere here,” Green said. “I think that is why guys like it so much and why they are so loyal.”
The new Woodward location was chosen because of the popularity of Royal Oak in Metro Detroit.
