Meatless Monday: Royal Oak Restaurant Gets a Yummy Review

Royal Oak is not too far down the road from us and neither is  Inn Season Cafe, but It really doesn't matter what part of the year it is because this restaurant is always "in season."

Located on Fourth Street in downtown Royal Oak, don't let Inn Season's tiny interior mislead you. The cozy restaurant has limited seating, but its intimate setting prepares you for a romantically delicious meal.

I went for the first time last year on my 21st birthday for lunch! I don't drink alcohol, so a vegetarian/vegan restaurant was my version of a legal-age celebration!

Who says you can't eat dessert first? And on that note, who says we can't talk about dessert first? Save room for dessert - trust me (see above photo). I got the carrot cake and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Again, you'll have to take my word for until you experience it yourself. If carrots in a dessert aren't your thing, then you might like their opera cake or banana cream pie.
