Motorist Reports Bizarre Vehicle Stabbing in Royal Oak
The suspect either jumped or fell off the hood of the vehicle when the victim drove away.

ROYAL OAK, MI – A motorist told Royal Oak police that a man jumped on his hood, stabbed the windshield of vehicle three times with a screwdriver and then either jumped or fell off the hood when the victim drove away.
The victim told police he was driving in the area of Maxwell and 12 Mile Road about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, when he noticed he was being followed by the suspect. When he pulled over, the suspect got out of his vehicle and began his attack on the windshield.

After the incident, the victim drove to the Royal Oak Police Department and reported the incident. He described the suspect as an approximately 20-year-old white male between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds.
The suspect was driving a dark colored hatchback car, possibly a Honda.
