Districtwide, Royal Oak High School has the highest Hispanic enrollment, while Michigan's latest education budget boosts per-pupil funding and maintains free school meals and pre-K support. 
• Rochester Approves Downtown Social District for Outdoor Drinking and Shopping (wrif.com) — Rochester has approved a new downtown social district, joining Royal Oak and other nearby cities that already let visitors carry drinks in marked cups while strolling designated areas. The move aims to boost business and follows Michigan laws that made these districts permanent after COVID-era relief, though some residents still worry about alcohol-related safety.
