Police Investigating Royal Oak Road Rage Shooting
There were no injuries in the shooting, Michigan State Police said.
ROYAL OAK, MI — Michigan State Police said they are investigating a Sunday night road rage shooting that happened on Interstate 75 in Royal Oak.
A man told police he was driving south at 6:40 p.m. on Interstate 75 near 14 Mile Road when a white Dodge Charger or Avenger started "road raging" and brake checking with him, police said.
The two cars continued their back-and-forth on the freeway until they ended up next to each near 12 Mile Road, police said.

That's when the driver of the Dodge then opened his window and pointed what the caller believe was a gun, police said.
The caller told police he heard a pop and continued driving.

The caller did not get a license plate number and there was no damage to his vehicle, police said.
Police did not identify a possible shooter.
"It's important to remember that it is only driving," MSP First Lieutenant Mike Shaw said. "It's not worth engaging in behavior that could risk other people's lives."
