Royal Oak Woman's Club General Meeting

The
Royal Oak Woman’s Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the clubhouse,
404 S. Pleasant, Royal Oak. Following a social and a business meeting, Zach
Schafer of No GMO 4 Michigan will speak on the controversial question “Are
Genetically Modified Foods Safe?”

GMO 4 Michigan educates Michigan citizens about the hazards of GMOs
(Genetically Modified Organisms) and the direct correlation between the food we
eat and possible health consequences. GMOs have been developed, among other
things, to increase crop yields and resistance to pests, and they are a part of
