Mobile Office to Register Voters in Royal Oak

The Secretary of State Mobile Office will be open for business at the Oakland Community College Royal Oak campus this week, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced.

On Wednesday, the Mobile Office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Alcove at the Royal Oak campus.

“If you haven’t registered to vote, this is the perfect opportunity to do so,” said Johnson. “You can join Michigan’s Organ Donor Registry or renew your license plate tabs. Visit the Mobile Office to handle nearly all the transactions you can do in a standard branch office, right on campus.”

College officials were excited to host the Mobile Office.

“Having access to the Mobile Office will tremendously benefit the OCC community,” said Royal Oak-Southfield Campus President Steve Reif. “Students, faculty and staff are deeply committed to education, employment and family activities, so the ease of voter and organ donor registration will greatly facilitate their participation. Our college community recognizes and appreciates the importance of the services of the Mobile Office.”
