Your 'Spring Has Sprung' Weather Forecast in Metro Detroit

The calendar says spring, but there's snow in the forecast. Find out when.

METRO DETROIT – Some days this week will feel like spring has sprung. But you may need to keep the snow shovel handy.

Here’s the seven-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 43. West northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. West wind 3 to 6 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57. South wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday night: Cloudy, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Wednesday: Rain after 8 a.m. High near 49. South southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Wednesday night: Rain. Low around 33. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Thursday: Rain. High near 35. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Thursday night: Rain likely before 2 a.m, then snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Blustery.

Friday: Snow likely before 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 41.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51.
