• M-58 to close for two days during sewer work (midmichigannow.com) — Expect the M-58 (State Street) and Warwick intersection in Saginaw to be fully closed May 14–15 while crews install a new storm sewer. MDOT is rebuilding 1.1 miles of eastbound M-58 and coordinating with the City of Saginaw on sewer and water main upgrades, so drivers should plan for detours and slower travel through the area. 
• USDA invests $1 million in Saint Charles water system improvements (ourmidland.com) — A $1 million USDA grant will help replace aging water mains and lead service lines in the Village of Saint Charles in Saginaw County, improving water safety and reliability for residents. The project, totaling $1.413 million, will upgrade undersized cast iron lines to PVC and is part of broader federal investments in rural Michigan infrastructure.
