Ann Arbor Pizza Fest

It is an undeniable fact that the people of Ann Arbor and
its surrounding communities love pizza. Dozens of pizza places from chains to
independents dot the landscape offering their own spin on this cheesy, saucy
delight. On Thursday, May 8, from 6 pm to 11 pm, pizza fans from throughout the
region will gather for a fabulous one evening food festival called the Ann
Arbor Pizza Fest at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds..



Delicious slices from top area pizzerias like the Tower Inn
Café, City’s Pizza and Subs, Cottage Inn, Rollin Stone Wood Fired Pizza and
Jet’s will all be available for you to savor under one roof. A diverse
selection of music suitable for all ages will be performed by one of Michigan’s
finest DJ talents. Attendees can browse and shop in our local business bazaar.
Kids can play together in our bounce house and activities area.



A six member judging panel, consisting of local businesspeople,
food bloggers and food writers, will award best of greater Ann Arbor honors for
top pizza in the categories of best overall and best gourmet. Winners will be
announced at 9:30 pm that evening. Attendees will also have the chance to get
in on the accolades with a people’s choice award being bestowed as well.

A unique sweet treat called Pizza4Dessert will be introduced
to the greater Ann Arbor area with this event. Produced by long-standing West
Bloomfield baker Trifles, owner Gwen Borders is excited to share this unique
spin on pizza. Her menu includes such combinations as dutch apple danish,
cherries jubilee, pineapple upside down, peach melba, blueberry buckle,
chocolate strawberry, chocolate chess pizza pie and more. 



Tickets for this event are selling quickly. Advance tickets
online are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for children 6 to 12 years of age and free
for children 5 and under. Each adult ticket includes two slices of pizza from
any of our participating pizza vendors. Each paid children’s ticket includes
one slice of pizza. Tickets at the door, if still available, will be $12.00 for

Ann Arbor Pizza Fest is a production of The Quintessential
Event Company, a Michigan-based event production firm. This event is a sister
program to the highly successful Motor City Pizza Fest which debuted on August
8, 2013 at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Nearly 1,700 people attended this
