Call for Auditions

For a staged reading of VIRTUES, an original play by Catherine Zudak.

Performance dates:  January 17 & 18, 2014 at Riverside Arts Center in Ypsilanti.

Character List:  Sean - Man in his late 30s
Lisa - Woman in her late 20s
Naomi - Woman in her 40s or 50s
Genius - Woman in her early 20s
Old Virtue - Man in his early 70s
Tom Virtue - Man in his early 30s

Tom Virtue and Sean Mahoney were once the best of friends.  Now they cannot agree on anything.  Tom wants to sell his family's chain of bookstores.  Sean wants so save the original store.  The both want "the new girl" Lisa.  Tension mounts as Tom and Sean battle over books, Lisa, and old grievances.  It takes a funeral, a strike and a friendly ghost to force these bitter rivals together to resolve the fate of VirtuesBooks.

Actors will be paid a stipend for their work.
