• Toyota Unveils Battery Center of North America at Michigan R&D Campus (manufacturing.net) — Toyota has opened its new 30,000-square-foot Battery Center of North America in Saline, expanding local research and development work on batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles. The facility will let engineers test performance, address field issues faster, and collaborate with the University of Michigan and Toyota plants across the continent, strengthening Saline's role in the growing EV industry. 
• Robots Break, Teams Adapt at Saline FTC Preview (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline High School just hosted a packed FIRST Tech Challenge preview, where local teams Hornet Hackers, H.I.V.E., and CyBugs tested their robots against 25 other squads. Despite plenty of breakdowns and on-the-fly repairs, Saline's CyBugs went undefeated in qualifying, helped lead the top playoff alliance to victory, and earned the Design Award, showcasing strong local STEM talent.

- Just found this little cutie running wild on the corner of North Ann Arbor and West McKay.
He appears to be a terrier pit mix. Black collar, no tag. On the older side. Very sweet!! The Saline police have come and picked him up. They're… (Nextdoor N Ann Arbor) - I just wanted to post an update, my little red car was side swipped on August 18, 2026 at the Arbor Farms parking lot.
